Thank you for your continued support and well wishes. Your enthusiasm towards making it to Davis Cabins this Summer is keeping our spirits high! We’d like to provide an update as to where things stand. We are cautiously optimistic that current State restrictions will be lifted in time for our 1st reservations on June 20th. The Governor is working with a task force to develop guidelines and a time frame for opening hospitality businesses and we hope to know more in the next couple of weeks. It seems likely that if we are able to open we will need to take increased measures to sanitize and practice social distancing. This will require our collective effort, however we’re confident this will not be a problem.
We plan to return your deposit If we are unable to accommodate your reservation this year. We will update you on FB and on our website as more information becomes available. In the meantime. We hope everyone stays healthy and safe and we remind you to send your confirmation notice to us if you haven’t done so.
Sincerely Joan and Art
Hello! Welcome to Davis Cabins, a family-run business since 1933. We are open mid June through September with 16 cabins that provide a rustic and relaxed atmosphere. The cabins have various views of the water and most are located directly on the shoreline of Lake Sunapee. We offer several amenities on our premises, including:
- A large roped-in swimming area with a dock as well as a floating raft;
- Boathouse slips, moorings, and uncovered dock slips for boats;
- A friendly environment for dogs on leashes;
- Equipment for horseshoes, badminton, croquet, and basketball available in the office
- A recreation room with a ping pong table, board games, and a cable TV;
- And old-fashioned penny candy!!!
Some Things You Should Know:
We accept cash or check, sorry, we do not take debit or credit cards.
We do not provide sheets or towels and we ask that you please bring your own.
We do not allow tents, campers, or RVs on the premises.
Due to our location, cell phone reception can be inconsistent and there is no internet; however there is a telephone for use in the office, and public access to wi-fi nearby.
